GuideCabin Privacy Policy

GuideCabin (the “App”) is provided by MT-Design (the “Developer”).
The App is designed with user privacy as a top priority.
The Developer does not collect personal information or usage data through the App.
No account registration is required.
The App does not use analytics or other usage tracking technologies. It does not display advertisements or use advertising identifiers.
The App does not automatically send crash reports or similar diagnostic data.
The contact form is provided on a website outside of the App. Information submitted through the contact form is subject to the privacy policy applicable to that website.
Manuals, OCR text, photos, product information, chat content, and other user data imported into GuideCabin are stored on the user’s device.
The App does not transmit this user data to servers operated by the Developer.
Whether this data is included in device backups, such as iCloud Backup, depends on the device’s backup settings.
Data remains stored on the device until it is deleted within the App.
Products, manuals, and other data can be deleted from within the App. Deleting the App will also delete the App’s data stored on the device. Data that remains in a device backup is subject to the settings and policies of the applicable backup service.
The App uses an Internet connection when using the following features.
When using Google Search, information necessary to perform the search may be sent to Google, including:
Product name
Manufacturer name
Model number
This feature does not send manuals, OCR text, photos, chat content, or other user data stored in GuideCabin to Google.
Information handled by Google is subject to Google’s applicable privacy policies and terms.
When a user specifies a URL, such as a manufacturer’s website, the App connects to that URL in order to retrieve a manual, PDF document, web page, or other requested content.
A request is sent to the web server hosting the specified URL.
As part of normal Internet communication, information such as the user’s IP address may be transmitted to the destination server.
Information handled by the destination website is subject to that website’s applicable privacy policy and terms.
The App uses Apple’s StoreKit framework for In-App Purchases.
Communication with Apple’s App Store may occur for the following purposes:
Retrieving product information
Checking purchase status and purchase entitlements
Making a purchase
Restoring purchases
Payment information is processed by Apple.
The Developer does not receive or have access to credit card information or other payment details.
The following processes are performed on the user’s device:
OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
Full-text search of manuals
Chat search
Manuals, OCR text, photos, chat content, and other user data stored in GuideCabin are not transmitted to servers operated by the Developer for these processes.
The App may use local notifications, with the user’s permission, to notify the user when certain processes, such as importing a manual, have been completed.
These notifications are generated on the device. The Developer does not operate a push notification server for these notifications.
The App accesses the camera and photo library only for the purpose of importing manuals, warranty documents, or similar materials, and only with the user’s permission.
Photos taken or selected through the App are not transmitted to servers operated by the Developer.
Permission to access the camera and photo library can be changed or revoked at any time through the iOS Settings app.
The App is intended for users of all ages.
The Developer does not collect personal information or usage data through the App regardless of the user’s age.
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, in the App’s information on the App Store.
